I’m sorry for my extremely limited presence in the past few weeks or so, but I’ve been extremely busy with other aspects of my life such as exams and university applications. Therefore I haven’t been able to really get down and work on my photography for a while now. 

I’ll be having a break soon so I’ll be able to get out and take a lot of photos and stuff, so I’ll also have a lot more photos to actually share. 

Thank you all for all the support that you’ve given me for the past 2 years! I have around 215 followers now! and I can hardly believe it haha. 

I actually realised that I left hundreds of photos from my last year’s trip to the Philippines un-edited some time ago, and finally got them finished. Haha, so I will be posting some of them in a few days just to give some of my newer photos a breather. 

It’s interesting to find photographs and seeing how different you were back then, for example, I was into Black and whites back then! And therefore a majority of the photographs I’ll probably upload will be black and white. And then I realise that black and white can capture scenes in a way that coloured photos cannot. I mean, of course, coloured photos are still very much amazing, but it’s interesting to see all the contrast and all the details without any colour messing with it. 

P.S Hope you like the change of theme. Kind of got sick of having the same old dark theme, and the messed up photosets. So I got this one (I know quite a few already have it) But I like the colours, and the way that it lays out my title and the descriptions perfectly in the middle. Haha.  

Hello there! Well, I know I’m a tad bit late, but I haven’t been able to get on my computer properly for the past week. 

Anyways, I just came back from a trip to the French capital on the 27th. I had a quick christmas vacation over there for 5 days, and I must say it has to be the best christmas that I’ve ever had so far :) The whole feel of Christmas over there is amazing, its so loving, and the food! Oh the food! :’) Some of the best food I’ve ever had was in France in those 5 days.

There was something special about the city, and the way it was just so.. real. The city wasn’t fabricated, or forced, and people didn’t need to have an incentive to live there. They just did. They existed and survived in the ways that they felt were the best ways to do so. It was also damn cold. And the weather? Bleak most of the time, but luckily during Christmas, the clouds parted to leave the sky mostly blue with the sun spreading its warmth across the city undisturbed.

Long story short, I loved it there. It’s somewhere where everybody in the world should visit at least once. Plus, the photos I managed to take? In my opinion brilliant, and I’m extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to go there and take them. Hope you guys like them too!

Holland photos are going up! :) I’ll be putting them on queue, with 2 coming out everday, so that it keeps a constant flow. I plan to do this so that I can focus on editing the rest of the Singapore, and Philippines pictures (about 1,000 more) and eventually put those up as well! 

Then I’m going to Paris this December for Christmas, so expect some more European insight, and stuff.

Going off to Holland! 

Flight’s tomorrow morning at 9 am, and this is good news for both you and I, as now you’ll have a look into Dutch life. I’m going there for an M.U.N conference in The Hague, and I’ll be staying in Amsterdam for about 6 days. Can’t wait! and I’m bloody excited. I’m gonna miss a lot of people, but I’ll be back! And hopefully with some more fantastic photos that’ll blow your mind. (hopefully). Haha.

Yes, yes.. I know I haven’t posted ANYTHING in forever, but I just haven’t been able to get enough time to get out and take something. Exams are gonna kill me :P and my camera’s much to big to take out everyday. 

I am working on getting a new lens to make my camera a bit more portable and much more flexible, particularly in darker scenes. Looking to buy a good 1.8 aperture lens, fixed of course, or maybe with zoom, but something real small. It’s getting annoying and heavy to continually carry about an 18-200mm. 

Where would I get the money? I’m planning to get a job over the summer and raise the money for it. Plus, an Iphone 4. Its gonna be hard, but I guess that’s life. 

So yeah! Pray for me guys, I need help… It’s hard to advance with photography with such a stiff photographic range. I’m hoping that I’ll improve over the summer.. and since I’ll prolly be in the Philippines, I guess I’ll be coming up with new material over there, and a few random shots here in the UAE.
